AVATR officially launches in Egypt — AVATR 11 & 12 land in Cairo
Kasrawy Group, the exclusive AVATR distributor in Egypt, unveiled the AVATR 11 and AVATR 12 on November 27, 2025, marking the brand's official entry into the Egyptian luxury EV market.
On November 27, 2025, Kasrawy Group hosted an exclusive launch event in Cairo to introduce AVATR — the joint Changan, CATL, and Huawei luxury EV brand — to the Egyptian market for the very first time. The lineup unveiled at the event included the AVATR 11 SUV and the AVATR 12 fastback sedan.
AVATR 11 is a 5-seat luxury electric SUV built on the CHN platform co-developed with CATL and Huawei. It pairs a 90.4 kWh ternary lithium battery with dual permanent-magnet synchronous motors producing up to 425 kW (578 hp) and 650 Nm of torque, sprinting 0–100 km/h in around 3.98 seconds. CLTC range exceeds 600 km on the long-range trim, and 750V high-voltage architecture supports DC fast charging up to 240 kW.
AVATR 12 is the brand's flagship fastback. It uses the same 750V CHN architecture, with up to 425 kW peak output, a Huawei HarmonyOS cockpit, and a Huawei ADS 2.0 advanced driver-assistance suite featuring lidar, radar, and 12 cameras. Cabin materials include Nappa leather, vegan suede, and a 35.4-inch panoramic display.
For Egyptian owners, the official launch matters because it brings authorized parts supply, OTA software channels, and a clear warranty path into the country. EVLAB's technicians are trained on AVATR's electrical architecture, the CATL battery chemistry, and the HarmonyOS software stack — so owners have a specialist option for diagnostics, software work, and electrical repair outside the dealer network.
